Previously Genuine Windows now Not Genuine - No new hardware

Question
-
I bought my computer from Dell 3-4 years ago with Windows 7 pre-installed. Never had any problems. Now Windows is saying it is not genuine and asking me to "validate." First question, should I do this LegitCheck.hta that I downloaded from Microsoft.com. Is it really legit, and will it fix the problem?
Computer info:
Windows-7 Pro 64 bit, Dell XPS 8300, Intel i7-2600 processor 3.4 GHz 12 GB RAM, 1.2 TB HDD
Video Card: NIVIDIA GeForce GT 530, Audio: SoundBlaster Xi-Fi Xtreme
I saw a few other posts on here and ran the MGA diagnostics. Here they are:

No recent hardware changes. Did update NIVIDIA driver recently, but that is about it. I don't get the black screen typical of having non-genuine Windows, and when I go Computer>Properties, it says Windows is activated. Thanks in advance for the help.

Try this...
What AV are you using?
Please disable real-time scanning/protection and reboot
If the notification has disappeared, re-enable real-time scanning and reboot again
If the notification is still present, first check whether the real-time scanning is still switched off If so, then re-enable it and post the result. If it's turned itself back on then tell me or try again using a different disable option.
Post back with the results
