  • Hi,

you have to tell us in detail what certification you are after. Because of the 70-640 exam, it can be one of these:
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator
Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Server Administrator

This page shows you the requirements:

The exams can be done in any order. The MCTS exams should be done before the PRO exams. (There is no real rule, but the MCTS exams all grant you a certification. The Pro Exams without the other requirements does not grant you any certification.

    With kind regards,

  • I fear that you should look for a Dynamics / GP forum for your question. This forum covers Microsoft certifications and exams only. (and just trying to hijack an existing thread is also not nice...)

What I found directly was http://www.microsoftdynamicsforums.com/forums/ (Not a microsoft forum) and http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/crm/threads (Not sure, if dynamics gp is on topic in here, too. But maybe a first step towards the correct forum)

    With kind regards,

  • I am after The Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) credential with windows specialization towards acquiring Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP): Enterprise Administrator; am aware that before the MCITP you have to complete the MCTS; so my question was which of the specific exams under MCTS comes first?

  • There's no specific order in which you must to do the MCTS exams.  You can do them in any order that you like.

Most people however will do the exams in the order shown here http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/cert-windowsserver.aspx#tab2
