  • Dude look here is what u want-

AMD Processors are Gud in Floating Point Operations means Gaming mainly.

Intel Processors are gud in multi tasking ,threading etc for OS ,Applications etc

Price amd are little cheaper than intel.

If u want pc mainly for gaming go for AMD but if u wna tfor everything then Intel.

    I also have intel e6750.

And if u wanna vista - take 2 gb ram (800MHZ)   for running soomthly while running big game salso

buy geforce 8 series G card also.

  • Firstly AMD processors have lesser cache memory than the equivalent Intel processors. Its often observed that AMD processors tend to get heated more quickly than the Intel equivalent. AMD's preferred for gaming but I think Intel is better, even though it is priced much higher than the AMD equivalent.

As far as Vista is concerned, it requires minimum 1Gb of RAM, with a dual core processor either AMD or Intel. It requires minimum grapchics either shared or dedicated. Intel 950 GMA is the most basic graphics processor which can just support vista. Vista just requiires some high end system.

my friend is using 2 gb ram ....even then it is not much faster than mine (1 gb).....1 gb ram is sufficient and one should go for faster (atleast 1.8 ghtz )processor for using vista for better performance
