Is One care activation the same as being enabled? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Folks...I was here before...unfortunately I still cannot figure out by the links you provided me how to activate.

My account is enabled...yet my icon is red telling me I'm at risk and that I need to renew now!!  Why should I renew when I bought the service on December 1st??  This has got to be the most confusing thing I've ever been through.

Plsssss dont spam me with links again!!

Just explain to me on a post in simple terms what I need to do (ex step one:. step twoSmile.....thank you

  • I won't spam you with links. If OneCare just turned red this evening and tells you that your account has expired, there seems to be a back end problem. There are 2 other threads on this issue that started late today.

My wife's retail subscription just experienced the problem, too.

I'll update the main thread on this  once I learn more.

Okay, one link - this is the main thread: http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2572904&SiteID=2

I'm locking the thread to steer posts to the main thread. You don't need to do anything at this point except ignore the warning for now.
