How to know who has acted as delegate on my behalf recently RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I need to know who has acted on my behalf (delegated) in the recent time. In our PS 2013 environment we sometimes have so many users acting as delegate and would like to know who has acted on my behalf in recent times.

Users (A, B, C, D,E ) have delegate access on my behalf. Hence I would like to know who has recently used delegated access.

Pls suggest if an end user can get that information some where or at least administrator can find the information and provide it to the end user.

  • Hello,

I don't believe this information is available to report on / see anywhere.

What's the reason for having so many delegate sessions set up? I'd recommend keeping this to a minimum and set them to start and end for the period needed and not set them up in bulk for long periods of time.

  • Paul,

I totally agree that we should not have too many delegates but in our case a resource would work on multiple projects and when the resource is on vacation / not available then we get request from Project's team to set up delegates so that they can act on his behalf during the same period.

Does Project server capture this information in any of its sql tables (who is the DELEGATE acted recently).

  • Hello, certainly not in tables / views that are supported to query with t-sql, not sure about other tables / views. Paul
