Hi Ken,
I am having an issue where my users can get to the logon screen of my home server. they put their info in ... username and password and hits enter. it then clears out the password and does not logon also no error message given. When I go to the server directly to the IP I am able to logon using their credentials. any thoughts??

logs on to Remote Web Access.Friday, August 23, 2013 6:40 PM -
Hi,
Since you could only remote access to the server use the IP address, the current issue is more related to the DNS issue. The following thread may be useful to us.
Why does remote desktop not work for me by computer name, and only by IP?
Hope this helps.

Unfortunately this is not my issue as i can get up to the logon page but no farther.
I had another thought.... is it possible that since this is a new user account and has never logged on locally that the user profile has not been built yet?
