No sound on pc connecting to live mesh remote desktop RRS feed

    The first time i used live mesh connect i noticed that i could hear all sounds that where being played on the remote computer, both pc's where windows XP.

    I then went and installed it on my home pc and the sound never carriers over every pc i have tried since then i have never gotten sound on the end client. When i first used it i was able to play music on the one pc with no lag and hear it on the end client. I was really hoping to be able to connect to my main pc from anywhere and listen to my music. But that doesnt seem to be working out for me =(

    Hi,

    I'm not sure what was happening when you first used Live Mesh - as far as I know, sound has never transfered over a Live Mesh Remote Desktop connection (though we've had a few requests for that feature - feel free to add it to our Suggestions sticky).

    Hm that would explain it. That's crazy then =) i thought it was so cool because it was the first time i used it, i called a bunch of employees in and showed them how i was playing a game which was actually coming over in real time as well as the sound, videos online weren't nearly as fast but i could still hear the sound of them.
