I bought a toshiba netbook about a year ago and have yet to be able to enter a product key. the product key is listed right on the bottom of my Netbook but it has never worked. I upgraded to Windows professional from Windows starter about a
month ago and had another product key for that. It also did not work. What is going on? Any ideas? Thanks,

You cannot use an Upgrade successfully on an system which is not properly activated. – that’s why your system did not upgrade properly.
Your system should never have needed activation in the first place – it should have self-activated.
You need to revert back to the original operating system using the manufacturer’s Recovery System, and solve any problems there before again upgrading. Remember to back up your data to external media before reverting.
