  • If you are looking at the main OneCare window and the PC is configured to be a Hub for your OneCare Circle, then status unknown indicates that the PC listed has not communicated with the OneCare servers in quite some time. This can be due to the fact that the PC listed is no longer running OneCare or represents the same PC that OneCare was reinstalled to and this is now a "ghost" entry.
    To resolve this, if the PC listed is a "ghost" entry, click the remove link for that entry and it will be removed after you sign in with your subscription LiveID.
    If the PC is active and running OneCare, there is a communication problem with that PC listed as status unknown.
    For help with removal of the ghost entries or to troubleshoot a problem with communications, please contact OneCare support.
