Duplicate files in external hard drive backup

Question
-
I recently did a file restore from one care as I accidentaly deleted my music files trying to set up itunes on my vista 64 bit system. The backup worked beautifully thank you, but when it listed my music files to restore, there were 4 sets of each file? How can I get rid of three of them. FYI three of the four were from a previous backup all the same date. One set from a recent backup. It is taking up 15 BG of my external hard drive space.
Thanks!Thursday, September 24, 2009 10:01 PM

I don't think there is a way to delete individual files from a backup set and even if there is a way it might save a lot of time to just delete the old backups and perform a new full backup.
