  • Question

  • I am using Metrolog for Logging Errors of my application.

    Ref Link - https://www.intertech.com/Blog/building-a-universal-windows-platform-uwp-application-part-4-logging-w-metrolog/

Link for sample code - https://github.com/onovotny/MetroLog/issues/115

This error is thrown 250 times when Tools-> Options -> Debugging -> Enabeld "Enable Just My Code".

This error does not appear when Tools-> Options -> Debugging -> Enabled "Enable Just My Code".

Even though Including above error in Exception Settings, I cannot trace the source of this error.

How do I resolve this error???

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

Its strange that we could not know where the exception happens. I suspect it happens in the third party libraries. So we need to find out where the exception happens first. If you run your app without the third party library-Metrolog, does the exception exists? If the exception does't exist, the problem is more related to the third party library and you might need to ask about this in Metrolog's forum.

If the exception exists without Metrolog, please find out the steps to reproduce the problem and we shall see where the problem is.

The sample you given is using Metrolog, please try to confirm if this problem only  happens when you are using Metrolog.

    Best regards,

    Roy

  • Hi Roy,

This exception occurs when I am using Metrolog, also I do have reported this issue to Metrolog few months back, but still I haven't got any update from them. Its strange after the product is released there's no support for reported issues.

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

If the problem is more related to the Metrolog, I'm sorry to say that I could not provide more help anymore. You might need to ask the tech support of Metrolog for help.

    Best regards,

    Roy
