Dynamics 365 and USD RRS feed

  • Hi,

    i am customizing USD and created 2 buttons to load accounts, contacts from my D365 trial instance. on the login window i have given my credentials for trial instance, USD config is loaded as expected, but when i click on any of the above 2 buttons, USD is using my windows account to connect to D365 and fails with authentication, you are not of member of this Org.

    When i click on Sign out, it fails with an error. can't sign out.

    Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot this issue.

  • I've seen this happening. This so happens because the USD by default picks-up the credentials from cache,

    Top overcome this, you can empty the folder where the USD stores log files and cache, typically it will be

    "C:\Users\logged-in-user\AppD'ata\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics® 365 Unified Service Desk\3.1.0.882" 

    Alternatively, you can also do a "shift + rightClick" - run as "different user" on the USD desktop icon and enter your actual credentials.

  • no luck even after deleting log files, second option won't work as the account i am using is from trial org which is not a windows user on my machine.
