Old Computer name showing for Tracert/nslookup commands

  Hi,

  I had windows 2003 server ,I have formatted it , installed windows 2008 R2 enterprise edition, and renamed to new computer name.Note : I have separate AD server.

  Now when I use " tracert" or "nslookup" command on IP address displays previous computer name instead of current name (even I use " tracert" or "nslookup" command for current name it display old name with results). My requirement is to get current name when I use above commands, I need this because I have to configure server application with server name so there should be no conflict on this issue. I tried to find root cause of this issue but failed to do so. Please kindly oblige to rectify same.
