activation of office drives me crazy !!

Question
-
I use since several year a legal, registrated, activated and paid version of office (2002) on Windows XP. Since a few weeks spontaneously a pop up tells me it will check if its legal. Than it says it cannot see if its legal because office is not activated. Than I go (in Word) to Help > product activation to do as asked. Than it tells me product is already activated.
With Help > info, I get: 'Een gebruiksrecht op dit product is verleend aan': followed by a product -id
So, it is ok.
What can I do
Thanks

Hello Hugo D,
Your mgadiag report is telling us that your OEM license installation of Office XP Small Business is reporting as not activated.
Occasionally we see this situation in the forum, where a longtime activated and genuine installation of Office XP or Office 2003 will suddenly become "not activated" and cause the OGA program to report it as nongenuine.
Fortunately, the solution is almost always a fast and easy one.
Please go to this Microsoft KB article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/903275, scroll down to the Method 2 section, and run the MS FixIt utility.
After the FixIt completes, restart the computer, then open up an Office XP Small Business program such as Word. If prompted, activate Office at this time. Once activated, close Word and restart once more.
Next, visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button, and Office should Validate normally.
Finally, open up Word once more and you should no longer be seeing the nongenuine notices.
Please post back to tell us if it worked for you :-)
