If you are still unable to install OneCare v2 Beta after following the steps at the link Jim posted, you can contact support via email using the Get More Help link here: http://help.live.com/help.aspx?mkt=en-us&project=onecarev2

I had the same exact problem "error ID 0014-80072F8F". I thought I should validate my windows (I was reformatting a larger hard drive) then I was informed that my calender date and/or clock was out-a-wack. I corrected the date and that fix my problem with "Windows Live One Care"

Thank You! I had to join up to say thanks to this post. I have been trying to install Windows Live OneCare on my laptop for about 4 days now, always getting that same code. Couldnt figure out what was going on though. Come to find out, somehow my date was a year off. My laptop was set on todays date, but 2006. Switched it to 2007, and its installing as Im typing. Thanks again!Wednesday, December 19, 2007 5:51 AM

Thanks to both of you for reminding us that the date is pretty important during the installation process. Of course, it sure would be nice if OneCare's installer could detect this problem and warn you to fix the date and time or offer to do so for you.
