Installed new hard drive, now Windows 7 is not genuine RRS feed

  • I installed a new hard drive and restored a system image from my previous computer.  Now I get the message "this is not a genuine copy of windows ask for genuine Microsoft software." I downloaded the windows activation update  which runs and says "update installation failed. Error information - 0xC8000247."
