Big data infinite transfer between all clients and server: How stop process RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have 1 server and more then 20 clients for exchange. Synchronization realized via WCF-service.

After last update application on clients and service, I have next problem:

One table Customer now contain over 7000 records. SyncDirection for with table on clients set in DownloadAndUpload. As primary key used uniqueidentifier.

At ApplyChangeFailed handler on client side for conflict type LocalInsertRemoteInsert and LocalUpdateRemoteUpdate set RetryWithForceWrite action. For conflict type ErrorsOccured set Continue action.

On service side, on conflict type LocalUpdateRemoteUpdate  set RetryWithForceWrite action, other - Continue action.

Now records from table Customer transfer between clients and service and this process don't stoped, although records in table don't updating.

Please, help, what I need doing for end this catastrophe. Any clients has slow internet connection and synchronization crashed by timeout.

Software: Clients - SQL Server Express 2008 R2 , Server - SQL Server Standart 2008, Sync Framework 2.1

  • if sync has timed out and crash, what is it that you want to stop?

or does this keep on occuring everytime you sync? you might want to enable sync framework tracing to see whats going on.
