SharePoint Document Management Settings - entity with a name = 'none' was not found in the MetadataCache. Error RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am getting the below error while attempting to select the default site for a CRM 2011 UR12 organization (in Document Management Settings).

Anyone else have a similar problem, or hints on where I can start looking?

    Any help would be appreciated!

  • If Audit is enabled in "SharePoint Sites" entity Disable the Audit and try to do document management settings again. The error is being thrown from Microsoft.Crm.Audit: Microsoft.Crm.AuditMonikerMessagesPlugin which is a CRM plugin that is triggered for Auditing.

Not sure if this is a MS defect.

  • This does seem to alleviate the exception, but I would really like to know why it happens in the first place.
