  • Hi,

Currently Live Mesh does not allow nesting of Live Mesh folders (i.e., having one Live Mesh folder in another).  So if you want to add some subfolders to your mesh but not others, you have to add each folder separately rather than adding the parent folder and then excluding the folder(s) you don't want to sync.  That is, if you had a folder structure like this:

    Folder A
            ----Subfolder B
            ----Subfolder C
            ----Subfolder D

And you want to sync folders C & D, but not B, you have to make folders C & D Live Mesh folders; you cannot make folder A a Live Mesh folder and then just exclude folder B.

    Does that answer your question?

Of course, the ability to nest Live Mesh folders within other Live Mesh folders is a feature request that we've seen a few times - please feel free to add your vote for such a feature to our Suggestions sticky. :)

    Thanks,

    Ben.

  • This would be something cool to have in the future, if possible. I also use eclipse and live mesh is great to make sure my code is up to date and synced across my computers as well as available online. I actually never knew how often the package data and other project files are changed until I started using mesh. It's not a huge deal for me but I can definitely see why it would be nice to only sync the core source files.
