OneDrive greyed out files when loading from iPad web application RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have a web application exported through Xcode to the iPad using HTML5 file input to select and load files. The input is set to accept all application filetypes. Specifically I am trying to load Autodesk's DWG files. Using all other file systems and cloud accounts I am able to see and select the DWG files without issue, except on OneDrive, there, it is greyed out and not selectable. The only way that I can get access to those files is to install an application on the iPad associated with that filetype. I've checked in the iPad OneDrive settings and my account to see if there was something that may help resolve the issue but without any success.

FYI I am currently looking for a solution to associate the application to the filetype; however it should seem unnecessary given it works in all other file systems and cloud accounts.

Any advice would be appreciated on how to enable 'unknown' filetypes to be accessible in OneDrive on the iPad.

Thank you in advance for your time.

  • Hello tduppstadt,

This forum(Gerneral Office Development) is for development issues related to Office Object model and I did not see any point related to Office Object mode. So I would move this thread to Off-topic forum.

    Thanks for understanding.

    Best Regards,

    Terry
