Reporting abuse, but what does "Already reported as abusive" mean?

Question

When you report a post as being abusive the link changes to display the message "Already reported as abusive". I keep wondering, does that mean that someone else has already reported it, so where there's a bunch of them there's no point reporting the others, or does it really mean that I was the person who reported it, and as such it can't now be clicked again?
If it's the latter than surely the wording could be better to make that clear? I've been assuming the former all this time, but only today wondered if I might be wrong (when reporting a post that had only been posted a few seconds previously, just before I refreshed the forums list).

It's the later. Once you report it, the wording changes to "Already reported as abusive", so you and others know. There always seems to be flurry of these things on Saturdays.

I'd love to see the red border return as a visual indicator of this.
