  • Hi Aj,

Which framework of .NET do you primarily work with?

Let's take for example, if you are experience with .NET 4.0 and have been working with .NET 4.0 for your past project(s) implementation then you may want to consider taking the following example.

Windows Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?id=70-511

After passing the above mentioned exam, you will get the title (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) where it will prove that you have the level of knowledge that is required for this exam which you have gained during your work.

In order to further upgrade and prove that you are more skilled in .NET 4.0 (example), then you can aim for going toward the title (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) - For more details, please refer to http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcpd-certification.aspx

Share with us more on what you have been doing before we can advise further and with proper information.

    Cheers! :)

  • Hi,

beside the certifications mentioned above: If you look for a newer certification you should have a look at "Programming in C# (70-483)"

  • Hi,

On top of the Microsoft Self-Paced Training Kit, you may want to look at video from PluralSight for Developers and also one of the book that I have scan through.

    http://www.amazon.com/Programming-4-0-Building-Applications-Framework/dp/0596159838/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1361154688&sr=8-2&keywords=.net+4.0+windows+application

Use the above if you felt that the training kit isn't adequate.

    Cheers.
