Connect a BB Tour and... RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have attempted to connect a BB Tour to my GX520 for 5 days now. When I do, system reboots.  Have spent 9 hours on the phone with RIM Technical Support, have even installed a USB 2.0 card and connected the BB to the add-on USB card port. Only other USB devices connected are a USB keyboard and mouse.  Can anyone decipher the error message?
Am using the prescribed version of BB desktop software.  I can connect the BB Tour to other computers without error message and reboots. Whatever it is is local to this device. Have installed multiple times, the most recent USB / Modem drivers from RIM.  Nothing, after 23 hours of effort, has resolved the issue.
