Blank page after installation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I installed MS CRM 4.0 on W2k8 (with MS SQL 2008) and when I try to access my crm with IE browser (i.e. : http://localhost:5555/signin.aspx ) an authentification windows appears. Once I enter my user name and password, I get a blank page.

Have somebody heard about similar problem ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

  • CRM 4.0 uses .net 2.0, please update the .net framework in the CRMAppPool to 2.0 and do a IISRESET.

  • I checked my IIS server and I saw two interesting things:

    1) in Applications pools I have a "CRMAppPool" which is set with the ".Net Framwork v4.0.30319" value

    2) in Site ->"Microsoft Dynamics CRM" -> Mime Type, I have no .aspx extension

  • Hello,

With a similar setup (Windows Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008, CRM 4.0) I only receive a blank page without any request for username/password.

Used .net version is 2.0, so thats not the problem. Also Anonymous authentication for the CRM is enabled. (Without anonymous authentication I receive a "HTTP Error 401.2" Message)

Does anybody have any clues? I'm getting kinda desperate here.

    Thanks in advance!
