Activating Office 2007 on Laptop with Vista

Question
-
Hello, my hubby is in Iraq and his laptop arrived and so he asked me to fix it up for him. Well I went to activate Office 2007 for him as he had them put it on thethere for him and the product key went through fine and I got confirmation and everything. Well after doing that I rebooted and wanted to be sure all was good. Well to cut it short, I'm having to keep activating a couple of the products. I mean it says all is good then I reopen and check and wammo it's like it didn't work. Please help but please don't spam me. Thank You for your time.

Hello Heather,
Please run the MS Diagnostic tool and provide us with the results by posting the results here in the forum. Also the test results will help us with more details so we may provide you with a resolution. Please download and run the utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum.
Step 2 is tell us about the COA. Tell us:
1. What edition of Windows XP is it for, Home, Pro, or Media Center?
2. Does it read "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" in black lettering?
3. Or, does it have the computer manufacturer's name in black lettering?
4. DO NOT post the Product Key.
5. Please also provide a short description of the issue you are experiencing.NOTE: The data collected with the Genuine Diagnostics Tool does NOT contain any information that can personally identify you and can be fully reviewed, by you, before being posted.
Thank you Heather and thank your Husband for serving.Stephen Holm, MS

Here is some additional information which may provide you with assistance. Activation does fall outside the scope of the OGA Forum. Maybe this will help. Also run the diagnostics test and post back your results.
