Trojan.Generic & Trojan.Sirefef (Variations) RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've come in contact with a few viruses, my main amount of virues were in forms of Trojan.Generic.(random numbers) and variations of Trojan.Sirefef. I've also noticed a process in my taskmanager calling itself csrss.exe with the description of ZBot Trojan Remover, which seems suspicious. Lastly, I've found a folder in my Programs (x86) folder called "Google", I'm certain this is where the virus originated but when I try to delete the file, my explorer.exe crashes.

I've ran a few antivirus programs to no avail, as everytime they detect the leads to C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Desktop\Install\{084f87b1-507a-f3be-61e5-4fc932e88c12} where after the last folder it leads to 2 folders with no names and one last folder named (...). The antiviruses would solve the problems until the same viruses come up again.
