    my son went online in June and renewed my live onecare  but never got a activation code  Today when I started my computer  i got a message that I have 47 viruses and  want a activation code  I can not get any further than  that screen How can i open my computer and get online to contact  live one care  or is there something else i can do     I never got the activation code and really  he does not know what to do now  Can he open the computer in safe mode and then go to  live onecare web site or what ? Please let me know if anyone knows what he should do  and I will let him know  thank you

    If your subscription was renewed no activation code is needed. Your subscription status should have updated automatically. I suggest contacting support as it appears your computer has picked up some malware. Support can help resolve the subscription status issue as well as help with malware removal.     jim  I jusat read your  advice on live one care forumn  My son cannot get anywhere onb his computer when he shuts it off and then re starts it he get s the same message  I really don't know how to help him  I live about 200 miles from him  wondering if he starts it up in safe mode  and then goes to live one care and runs a scan or what  I really don't know what it means when asking for the activation code    Is there a phone number  for the techs of live one care  He can not do anyhing if he cant get into the computer  thanks for your help

    They will likely direct you to OneCare support if you are a subscriber.
