  • Hi,

    I'd recommend starting with the MCITP: Database Administrator 2008
    certification. This one consists of 2 exams:

    70-432
    Objectives:
    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-432&locale=en-us#tab2
    Learning Plan:
    http://learning.microsoft.com/manager/LearningPlanV2.aspx?resourceId={ff7d6553-ab94-4692-a7ea-cf6c7af9d3b0}&clang=en-US&cats={d4e8e42c-3d5a-4a6e-915d-d99556a49bd7}

    70-450
    Objectives:
    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-450&locale=en-us#tab2
    Learning Plan:
    http://learning.microsoft.com/manager/LearningPlanV2.aspx?resourceId={fc817fe4-8a2c-4870-9dd1-cfbae43c35c0}&clang=en-US&cats={d4e8e42c-3d5a-4a6e-915d-d99556a49bd7}

    Note that for when I took 70-450, there was no self paced training kit
    for it, I would recommend reading the SQL Server Books online and the
    SQL Server 2008 Administrator's Pocket Consultant.
