Complete uninstallation of Windows Live OneCare RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

My subscription for Windows Live OneCare is valid up to Feb, 2009. However now adays I found it's not working at optimum level in protecting my laptop. Hence I decide to uninstall the program and re-install it again. I uninstalled the program successfully. When I try reinstall the program, I couldn't able to. For to find the reason I searched in Program files of Folder:C. There I found a file called "Microsoft Windows One Live care". Though I uninstalled the program I'm not sure how still that file remains in that folder. However there is Windows OneCare Live icon also found at the right side corner of desktop. When I click that icon I'm getting error reply like "Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Windows OneCare\WinSSIntro.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.". Hence I request you to get me the solution for to remove that icon on the desktop and to delete that File in the Program Files of Folder:C. I appreciate your help. Thank you.
