Hi
I am running Windows Vista and have been for a couple of months without problem.
Recently I got the error 0xC004D401 and the pop up telling me An Unauthorized change
was made to Windows and I will no longer receive notifications.
The security processor reported a file mismatch error.In the end I used a restore point to get over this problem.
However, it has just happened again.
I have seen that there are some programmes that cause this problem
(e.g. Spyware Doctor) but I do not have any of them installed.
