  All three routes are good. You can get certified in C#, ASP.NET and Sql Server. All of them are useful for getting a job, especially if you get all three (plenty of job descriptions include "developing ASP.NET applications in C# that are backed by a SQL Server database"). To get started, take a look at the Microsoft learning main page:

  and then click on "Certifications and Exams". You will be most interested in the entries for SQL Server:
