CRM 2011 customer portal XML file

  Hello,

  We know we can import this microsoftxrmportals_managed.zip file to CRM, which is in SDK. From there, we can new website, page, etc. Then, we can use websitecopy.exe to copy a website from crm to a newly created website, which is XML file.

  My question is after running websitecopy.exe tool, I can find one XML created, and one CMD file created, but where is the new website application file(VS)? or do I need create a web application manually? In that case, how this web application matches with XML file? Same thing, after updating web application source code, how to update(or re-generate) the associated XML file? Then I can use this updated XML to import to CRM via websitecopy.exe tool.
