Copy of Vista not Genuine - error

Question
-
Hello,
I have a Sony Vaio VGN-FE41Z that I bought in January 2007 and always worked fine. A few days ago the it started to ask me for activation of Vista on start up. This is strange as I have been using this laptop for three years now so the os has been activated and is genuine for sure. I accept the request, but it cannot be performed as it says that the license is corrupted. I can then log in to my profile, which shows a black screen with a message on the bottom right reading that the copy of vista is not genuine.
What should I do? Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
I have done the tool as requested, see output below

Hello MaxLondon,
It appears that Vista Licensing Store may be corrupt or the data it contains is messed up some how. Follow the below steps to recreate the Store:
1) Open an Internet Browser window.
2) Type: %windir%\system32 into the browser address bar.
3) Find the file CMD.exe
4) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select 'Run as Administrator'
5) Type: net stop slsvc (it may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
6) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareLicensing
7) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
8) Type: cd %windir%\system32
9) Type: net start slsvc
10) Type: cscript slmgr.vbs -rilc (It may take a long time for this to complete, please be patient)
11) Restart your computer twice.
12) You may be required to enter the Product Key and/or Activate. (Enter the product key from the sticker on the side or bottom of the computer and Activate by Phone)Thank you,
