Configuring the Data Migration Manager RRS feed

  • We are getting the following error when configuring the DMM:

    Failed to determine the SQL data root path for CRM instance.

    In a previous post a number of possible causes/solutions were suggested but I was wondering if a definitive cause had been established and if there were a list of system requirements/deployment steps etc. that were guaranteed to work?

    What machine are you installing the Data Migration Manager on.


    Don't install it on the CRM server.
