Great Plains Log in problem RRS feed

  • After activating Windows Steady State and set restrictions to the Control Panel, the user can no longer log in to Microsoft Dynamics GP application. The Great Plains version is version 9. We tried uninstalling windows steady state but the problem still persist. The work around that we do is to create a new Windows account for the user to be able to log in to Great Plains application again.

  • Hi JLFurigay, I suggest you reinstall Windows SteadyState as those restrictions remain on the system if we did not uncheck the restrictions before uninstalling it. Then, we can try different restriction level and find which restriction is the cause of the issue.
