CRM 4.0 New activity button is invisible RRS feed

  • Hi,

    In CRM 4.0 service part, nobody except users that has admin permission cannot see the "New Acitivity" button in the cases.

    I guess it's about the permissions, but i couldnt find which permissions do i need to give the users.

  • Have you modified any of the default system roles?
    You need to make sure that the users role allows "Create" privilege on the activity record type.

    I would recommend you view this video on the Channel9 website on MS CRM v4.0 Security model.

  • And to add to what Hassan said, the users will also need Append and Append to Cases at whatever level is needed, possibly Organization.
