Cannot connect to internet because network driver is out of date RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Toshiba Satellite A505 laptop that came with Windows 7 Premium. I am a student who needs to install an application not compatible with this OS. Therefore, I decided to partition my hard drive to allow me to install Windows Vista Business which is compatible with the application. The install was clean and everything went great except for the fact that I can't connect to the internet while im running the Vista OS. I can connect just fine on Windows 7. I tried updating the network adapter drivers but Windows Vista says the Realtek 8101 network adapter drivers are already do not need updating eventhough there is a caution sign beside it when I view it under the device manager. I don't know what else to do. Somebody please HELP!!!
