Microsoft sync 4.0 not working when using Silverlight and running in out-of-the-browser mode. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I went thought the tutorial to setup a Silverlight application that used Microsoft Sync 4 and isolated storage. I got the program to work locally and off the main server. I can't get the program to work when I install in on my desktop to use it in out-of-broswer mode. I just get a white screen and not errors. If i comment out the code needed for the off line context to work the application loads but naturally no caching is turn on. My context initialization looks like the following.

    DefaultScopeOfflineContext context;

    context = new DefaultScopeOfflineContext(App.Current.Resources["CachePath"].ToString(), new Uri(

    I load the CachePath and Servicepath from the initparams.

    Has anyone else seen this problem using the sync frame work 4 and Silverlight or can you suggest a way to debug it so I can get an idea what the problem might be.
