Is Peer-to-Peer Sync between SQL Compact 2008 (sdf) databases possible? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Dong

    Do you remember this post?
    http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/uklaunch2007ado.net/thread/7901b94c-b262-43b5-b5ff-12c56add0c0c

There you mentioned the sample "Database Sync: SQL Server and SQL Server Compact", that can be found under http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/sync

My problem is now, that I'm unable to find mentioned "DbSyncScopeDescription". I'm using .Net Framework V3.5 SP1 but Microsoft.Synchronizaton.Data
    does not contain.

    What am I missing?
Are there other examples on the net, that explain how to build my own SqlCeSyncProvider to use with two SQL CE files?

I'm totaly confused about all these versions of Microsoft Sync Framework...

    Thanks for your help
    Sebastian

    P.S.:
    My dll versions
    Microsoft.Synchronization missing
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data 1.0.0.0
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.Server 1.0.0.0
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServerCe 3.5.0.0

    Sample dll versions
    Microsoft.Synchronization 2.0.0.0
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data 3.0.0.0
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServer 3.0.0.0
    Microsoft.Synchronization.Data.SqlServerCE 3.0.0.0
