Genuine Advantage pop up - is it applicable to Office 2002 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recently applied some updates and the Office Genuine Advantage program has been applied to my PC. I have run the test and it advises that a copy of Office has not been activated (error code 0x80180101). When I follow the instructions, the applications indicate that Office has already been activated.

I noted in another forum posting that the Genuine Advantage program is only meant to apply to Office 2007.

My copy of Office Professional XP is an earlier version eg Word 2002 (10.6850.6845) SP3.

In any event, I believe that my copy is genuine.

Why am I getting the popups and what do I have to do to remove them.

I have run the diagnostic suggested in a separate posting and included the data below.

    Regards
