Blue Screen, Software Incompatability and Access Privileges RRS feed

  • Just installed WHS yesterday on several home machines, all running Win 7 Pro.  I have three issues that have arisen.  First, I get a "Critical Network" error telling me that the Media Collection software is incompatible with my computer and I need to uninstall and re-install the correct software.  Can this be so...after just installing and updating all software yesterday?  If so, how do I do this, in light of problem No. 2: When I try to open the server software, I get an "Access Denied" message.  My computer was the first on which I installed the WHS software, so I don't know why I'd get this message or what to do about it.  Third issue: when I try to log into the Console during a backup (which, by the way, seems so be taking forevvvvvvvvver -- in one hour, it has managed only 1% progress) I get nothing but a blue screen.  No console or anything.  Are all these issues somehow related?  Things seem to be a real mess...
