CERTIFICATION IN C#

Question
-
Dear all,
I have been googling about the certification exams for C# programming, out of which I found MCSD as my choice. This is because it's a basic and fundamental level of certification. But for this, I have few queries. I'm listing them below. Hope anyone of you can help me out.
1) Reference books
2) Where can I book a slot for it ?
3) Where do I find previous papers ?
4) How long will it take to prepare ?
Moderator note: email removed
Thanks & Regards,
Sravani Sharma.

- Prepare for your exams
The exam details page for each exam contains a "Skills measured" section that you can review, along with a list of preparation tools and resources provided by Microsoft. The best way to prepare for an exam is to practice the skills listed in the preparation options. Hands-on experience with the technology is required to successfully pass Microsoft Certification exams. Additional preparation resources are available at Microsoft Virtual Academy and on study group forums.
Here's an example of the exam details page for a popular Windows Server exam.
Hope this help..

You shouldn't post your email address on a public forum, you risk an avalanche of spam.
Also, one of the principles of the forum is that a thread is for everyone forever.
A surprisingly large number of people browse the forum reading threads.
If an answer is sent by email rather than the forum then they can't read it.
.
There's a wrox book intended to prepare you for the course.

The test isn't a paper one, so you can find the syllabus and what people claim are questions they've had but you can't get an old paper like you can with GCSE or whatever.
You find a local test centre, there are numerous ones and web search is advisable.
How long you take to prepare depends on how much you have to learn.

One other thing.
There are relatively few employers who are interested in formal qualifications on c# etc.
Most are much more interested in practical ability and experience over academic.

Please go to Microsoft's formal training site for assistance with this information. They have everything you need there. For resources to help you with the exams please go to Microsoft Virtual Academy (which is currently having issues)
