With correct credintials Launchpad denies login and password. RRS feed

    I have Launchpad set to automatically login.  All  has been find for the past few weeks.  Earlier in the day, the login error popped up:

    "The user account name or password is incorrect.  Verify that you are using a user name and password that is managed in the Windows Home Server 2011 Dashboard, and then try again.  If this problem persists, contact the person who manages your network."

    I logged off and back off of the Windows 7 client, to no avail.  I restarted the server and all was fine for a few hours.  I powered off the client machine.  When I started and logged onto the desktop of the client, Launchpad loaded and once again denied access with the same error.  The login and password are saved for the purpose of automatic login.  I again tried logging off the client machine, to no avail and then a restart which also did not work.

    I should not have to restart the server every time this error occurs.  What shall I check?

    My mistake, in my haste I did not realize I was still logged on at the console which denied access via the Launchpad on the client.

    It addition my WHS2011 is also used as Music On Hold for my business where as the server is uses a "sleep cycle".  It is awakened at 7:35am and put back to sleep at 10:35pm.  At times the sleep mode seems to complicate the auto login of Launchpad. 

    Logging on and then off again at the console also seems to alleviate it for a while.
