Hello, all

I rather dislike the Forums' design for its slowness and low spatial density, so I had used the much faster, lighter, and more effective NNTP Bridge until it was discontinued. Was it a heavy burden to maintain? Is there an alternative for non-browser & text-only read and write access to the Forums? If not, may I ask you to bring the NNTP Bridge back or provide a suitable replacement?

Hi,

You're not the first person to be upset about the retirement of the bridge. In case you haven't seen it, this is the thread that formally announced the change:

This thread is rather large, so it may take a while to load or you may see popups about long running scripts.

I doubt we'll see the bridge return, but who knows how it'll shake out in the end.
