Can I move my backups frmo my old WHS to WHS 2011? RRS feed

    I have setup some computers for my family, backed them up on WHS, then sent delivered their computer to them. If there is ever a failure, I can restore to a disk and send it to them. They keep their daily data like photos and music backed up separately at ther locations. I want to move the backups of their computers from my old WHS to a new one, which I have not as of yet installed. Is this possible? Can someone please point me to some information on the procedure? I would think this would have been asked many times, maybe I am looking on the wrong location. Thanks in advance.

    No, that's not possible. WHS1 client computer backups are not usable on WHS2011. Your options are to keep your old server running of create new backups on your WHS2011 server.

    No, that's not possible. WHS1 client computer backups are not usable on WHS2011. Your options are to keep your old server running of create new backups on your WHS2011 server.
