Try to get a refund. If you read their refund policy it looks like that is not going to happen.
you can report them here:

Licensing Data-->
C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(1333, 5) (null): The data is invalid.Let's see if rebuilding the licensing store will fix it.
Recreate the Licensing Store
1) Click Start button.
2) Type: CMD.exe into the 'Search programs and files' field
3) Right-Click on CMD.exe and select Run as Administrator
4) Type: net stop sppsvc (It may ask you if you are sure, select yes)
Note: the Software Protection service may not be running, this is ok.
5) Type: cd %windir%\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
6) Type: rename tokens.dat tokens.bar
7) Type: cd %windir%\system32
8) Type: net start sppsvc
9) Type: slui.exe
10) After a couple of seconds Windows Activation dialog will appear. You may be asked to re-activate and/or re-enter your product key or Activation may occur automatically.

Thank you for responding!
I went through the process as you instructed but after it ran through the key validation it's telling me: "A problem occurred when Windows tried to activate. Error Code 0x8007000D."
Any ideas how to get past this? Thanks.

I was hoping that would fix it.
Please post a new diagnostic so we can see if anything changed.
I need help for this from a person more knowledgeable and experienced than I. He is located in the U.K. so is a 5 hour time difference from where you are located.
What antivirus are you running? ( I am aware of at least one instance where this error was caused by an antivirus)

Thanks to all for looking at this. My anti-virus is McAfee but I've been having issues with it as well, it does not launch and I've spent days with their tech support on the phone and the final solution they gave me was to reformat my entire hard-drive and reinstall McAfee.
Here is my updated report. Thanks!

Is the above report taken after you did the complete reinstall?
Darin MS
Tuesday, April 24, 2012 7:03 PM -
I could not do a complete reinstall, the process would freeze along the way. Also, I called Microsoft and they told me that the company who sold me Windows 7, Online Digital Items, had returned the key to them so it was no longer valid. I read about the company and it seems they've scammed several people in the same way. Not sure how to proceed now since I seem to be hitting dead-ends on all sides. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

Just for fun, I did a little research.....
xxx.onlinedigitalitems.com was first registered in 2010 - but the site claims copyright from 2006 - and is registered through GoDaddy (not a good sign!). It appears to be hosted on servers in Lansing, MI. but according to its terms, would appear to be claiming protection from the courts of Delaware (which is about as close as I can find in terms of any real-world location).
There are no real-world contact points - although there is email - which raises another red flag.
The registrant is a proxy - and that raises a red flag, for a business that should want to be known.
The fact that they are advertising 8% commission for 'affiliates' raises a flag for me.
Their startfieldtech secure check aborts without resolution for me (but that may be because I'm in the UK)
Interestingly, they've greyed out the money-changer logos (PayPal, Visa, M/C) presumably so they don't get too badly sued for breach of copyright.

Please submit a confidential Counterfeit Software Report with Microsoft. You may be eligible for a complimentary edition of genuine Windows 7.

Media Player, or Media Center?
Media Player should continue to work, but I seem to recall that Media Center is validation-dependent.
If Media Player is 'MIA' then you may have malware.
