The installed Product Key is the Default Key - which can never be activated.
Your machine should have a COA sticker inside the battery compartment - use the option to change the Key to that one, and then try and activate that.

The system shows signs of a possible hackers exploit.Best way to start fixing it is to run WATFix....
Download WATFix- make sure that you UNTICK the box for the 'download manager, and click on the link on the left of the page, not the big shiny button on the right(which is an ad for the download manager!!) - and use that - extract the .exe file, and run it, then reboot.
Post back with another MGADiag report, and we'll then see what we cando.
Please use the updated version of MGADiag from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 and use that one, which has enhanced data-gathering for Windows 7

Downloaded and ran WAT Fix successfully. Upon reboot, Activation screen. Attempted to enter product key from sticker, but it was rejected as "does not appear to be valid." Ran updated MGADiag.exe. Report follows. The partial product key does not match the product key on the sticker, but I could not enter any other characters at the Activation screen except what was on the sticker.

Thank you. Entering the product key did not work as I said, but did work, after rebooting again. It is now activated and appears to be working OK.Friday, May 27, 2016 10:26 AM

Great - you can check by using the MGADiag tool again, and pasting the new report.
