  • Look at the second "sticky" thread in this forum:

and download US Money Plus Deluxe Sunset.  Double-click to install it.  Then copy your Money.mny file to your Documents folder on your new computer and double-click to open it.

In addition, you should do the replacement of the mnyob99.dll file as described in the first "sticky" thead in this forum:

Post back if you have difficulty or if you need more detailed instructions.

  • I didn't have to do any adjustments installing my 06 Money Plus on win 10. Works fine.

  • Nice. Money Plus would work very similarly to M06, but it has some nice improvements. Those include multiple backups that you can control the number of versions to keep, and better spin-off behavior. Also, it works with USB flash drives that have more than 2GB of free space. I send my scheduled backups to a USB  flash drive in case the main drive fails. (I also do some manually triggered OneDrive storage giving off-site advantage) Money Plus also has improvements that came with Money 2007 including the ability to change the InvestmentType within limits, and the CombineWith operation.

Also routine for Money 2005 and newer would be to use the Windows Firewall to block Money, if you don't use the built in browser within Money. This is to speed things up so that Money does not look for servers that no longer exist. https://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/6cc548a1-d479-435a-b187-dcfc90b4c93c/msmoneyexe-process-keeps-running-on-windows-10?forum=money
