How to view trace comments added in PlugIn/WF

Hi there,

I've situation, a custom workflow working fine at local but when it is published on production server it's not working properly.

So I invoke ITracingService service and added few trace comments.

But where I can view these comments. I gone through below

>CRM Trace Enabled and position to a folder

>Server Event Log

Please let me know if anybody have solution.

Hi Kiran,

The tracing information is displayed in a dialog of the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web application only if an exception is passed from a plug-in back to the platform. See (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.xrm.sdk.itracingservice.aspx).

I suggest you use another tool like log4net (http://logging.apache.org/log4net/) to add logging to your plugin.
