My windows 7 upgrade might not b complete RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I was told that my windows 7 upgrade was installed wrong or messed up. My windows 7 upgrade from windows XP pro IS genuine. Im running windows 7 ultimate sp1 32-bit, upgraded from window XP pro in a HP Compaq nc6400 business laptop. Im considering restoring it back to factory with the reserve partition, but I don't have access to it as it wont load from f12 on startup. I understand it will bring me back to xp pro, but I don't have anything on the laptop that I want to keep. I really just want to start fresh.... Would I be able to some how save my windows 7 upgrade on a usb drive and restore to factory and then put windows 7 back in?,as I don't have a windows 7 disk... Diagnostic Report (1.9.0027.0):
